About the Project

MY VIRTUAL TRIP AROUND EUROPE

The main idea of the project is to take our young pupils on a virtual trip around Europe.
Pupils will become familiar with other cultures, traditions and everyday life of their peers from different countries. They will share information about themselves, their schools, hometowns and countries. The aim of the project is to make the pupils be aware of the fact they're part of the big world and that the language is the tool to gain knowledge and to make new international friendships. Project results will be displayed in the form of photos, drawings, powerpoint presentations, short videos and web 2.0 tools.

Aims of the project:

  • To improve language skills;
  • To enhance pupils' internal motivation to learn foreign languages
  • To make students aware of other cultures, national traditions and everyday life
  • To enrich students’ knowledge about European Christmas traditions
  • To improve creativity and art and social skills
  • To improve digital competences
  • To promote acceptance and inclusion of differences and commonalities amongst cultures.
